Our Story....how it all began
40 years ago, our founders “Papa” Harry Hill and his wife Patsy opened their first restaurant in Columbus. Located in the downtown area, Papa Harry’s Pizza offered some of the best pizza in the city. A couple years later they opened their first (of what would become several) Papa’s Deli. Over the years they earned many accolades, including the 2005 Small Businesses of the year award. In 2008, they had the vision to get out of their comfort zone and opened a full service sit down restaurant. Papa’s Grill was born. With the new venture taking much of their time, and Harry eventually retiring, they decided to close the other restaurants. They groomed their son Dustin and grandson Jody to take the reins. The new generation, along with an amazing staff continue to carry on the family legacy. Papa Harry passed in 2023, but was able to see out his dream of being a very well respected entrepreneur in Columbus.

At Papa’s, our staff is much more than just a group of employees. They are family, and they are the reason we have been able to provide our patrons with a great dining experience for going on two decades.
